The Queensland Boulder Opal Association Inc. (QBOA) is an Industry Body that represents Opal Miner’s and its members in the Winton mining district in Western Queensland , Australia.
The QBOA hosts the annual "Winton Q.B.O.A. Opal Festival" with this years being held on
Friday 4th & Saturday 5th July 2008 in Winton, Queensland .
The Queensland Boulder Opal Association's Opal Festival is held so that the miners, buyers, retailers, exporters and jewellers can meet at a central venue to do their buying, selling and socialising.
